GUITAR WORLD And CONCERT.TV Form Partnership

January 11, 2010

Guitar World magazine and Concert.tv have announced a media content partnership that will offer Guitar World's premium video content on Concert.tv, the Video-on-Demand (VOD) network that exclusively showcases live music programming. Every month, new content will be aired from Guitar World's vast video archive, including interviews with the who's-who of contemporary guitar heroes from all genres of music, from legendary rockers like METALLICA's Kirk Hammett to venerable blues icons like Buddy Guy.

The first installment will begin airing on February 15 and includes exclusive interviews with SLAYER, LIVING COLOUR and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH. Additional upcoming series will include KINGS OF LEON, ALICE IN CHAINS, JOHN MAYER, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, NIGHT RANGER and more.

"We are very excited for this opportunity to have our branded video content distributed nationally on such a high-quality digital TV platform," says Guitar World publisher Greg Di Benedetto. "Concert.tv has redefined the at-home music viewing experience and provides us with an even more targeted audience, with greater reach for our marketing partners and advertisers."

Concert.tv is available nationwide in 30 million VOD homes via Comcast, DirecTV, Verizon FiOS, DISH Network, Charter, Insight and Cox.

"As the leading publication for guitar players and fans, Guitar World's video content will be very attractive to Concert.tv's demographic," said Joe Covey, CEO of Concert TV. "This partnership will give fans access to rarely viewed footage and interviews of their favorite guitar heroes at their leisure."
